Presenter's Biography:

Neal Clough is a Barrister practicing from Tower Chambers. He came to Hong Kong in January 1978 and his first case in Court was a Workers' Compensation case.

Neal Clough specialises in Personal Injury work including Employees' Compensation and also in Family cases.
Objective:

Essentials for successful Personal Injuries litigation.

Getting it right from the start provides the basis for a successful action.

This course examines a PI case from first interview to commencement of trial.

There are 3 main aspects: -

    1. Practice and Procedure is governed by the High Court and District Court Rules and Practice Directions as well as the actual practice that has developed.

    2. The Ordinances and case law determine how the Courts will adjudicate between the parties.

    3. Thorough preparation and clear presentation enables the case to proceed smoothly through checklist hearing and the PTR to trial and judgment.
