Gordon was admitted to practise as a solicitor in Australia in 2012 and in Hong Kong in 2013. He joined the firm in 2015.
Gordon has experience in handling a wide range of corporate and commercial matters, including pre-IPO restructuring and financing, Hong Kong and U.S. IPOs, mergers and acquisitions, loan and financing transactions, corporate governance and general compliance for listed companies as well as private enterprises.
Gordon is the Non-Executive Director of China Regenerative Medicine International Ltd (Stock Code: 8158); He is also the Company Secretary of Sunshine 100 China Holdings Ltd (Stock Code: 2608), Mabpharm Limited-B (Stock Code: 2181) and Sundy Service Group Co. Ltd (Stock Code: 9608).
Rain was qualified as a PRC lawyer in 2001. She joined Stevenson, Wong & Co in 2018 as a Senior Manager in the Commercial and Corporate Finance Department. Before joining Stevenson, Wong & Co, she practiced as a registered foreign lawyer in Singapore and lectured at the School of Accounting and Finance, Hong Kong Polytechnic University for more than 10 years.
Rain has extensive experience in teaching business law, company law and securities regulations. She received the Award for Outstanding Performance/Achievement in Team Teaching from the Faculty of Business, Hong Kong Polytechnic University in 2012/2013.
Rain is particularly interested in corporate finance and corporate governance areas. She was awarded a Ph.D. by the School of Law, City University of Hong Kong in 2019 for her thesis 'Can independent directors effectively monitor controlling shareholders - Theory and empirical evidence'. She also holds the degree of LL.B., LL.M. and Master of Corporate Finance (Distinction).
To provide a comprehensive introduction to IPO lawyers in respect of the rules and practice of Hong Kong's IPO market, covering a wide spectrum from the basics to the fundamentals of the commercial requirements, the legal implications and the practical applications so far as IPO lawyers are concerned.
